Do you know Khet or Deflexion? They are chess-like games except that most of the pieces have 45-degree mirrors on them. Why mirrors? Because at the end of every move you fire a laser that bounces around among the mirrors and just maybe winds up hitting a piece. If so, the piece id dead!
