Do you know Khet or Deflexion? They are chess-like games except that most of the pieces have 45-degree mirrors on them. Why mirrors? Because at the end of every move you fire a laser that bounces around among the mirrors and just maybe winds up hitting a piece. If so, the piece id dead! And if that piece happens to be a pharaoh (like a king), the game is over. They are great games, and I'm trying to put together a small group to play from time to time at my house in Belmont.
