I have recently jumped head first in to the world of board games. I love all types, including Euro Games, designer games, cooperative games, and mainstream board games. My friends and I were looking to find more people to join us, because we have a ton of fun. It's a nice break from going out to clubs or bars. We have a fun relaxing time, mix some drinks and play some games! The age range of our group right now goes from 21 to 30, but anyone is welcome. We are a mix of gay men, lesbians and stra …

Gamers, I am a huge fan of Euro board games and wanted to create a fun group who share the same interests here in the city. The purpose of the group is to get away from all of the technology that surrounds us and have some old fashion board gaming fun. The group is for Gay men, Lesbians, and anyone who would like to join. Games that I love to play: Dominion, Stone Age, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, and Settlers. It would be so much fun to set up a game night soon.
This group is for people who want to have a night out of kicking back a few beers with new friends and playing games (board or otherwise). Our first target is the either the Sunset House or the Quiet Man...to be determined soon.

… In some ways it is similar to card games like rummy or poker, but it is played with a set of tiles instead of a deck of cards. This game is very popular in Japan, and is rapidly gaining popularity in the United States. Envision a game with its roots in gambling, played by the Yakuza... but with a strong skill component that makes it suitable for competitive play too. Riichi Mahjong retains the excitement of a gambling-style game, but also emphasizes strategy. It is a game with a lot of depth and …
The Has-Bros (alternatively Has-Brats for the female persuasion) first joined together in April 2012 to promote social bonding over a varied selection of board games, beer and warm fuzzy feelings. They meet once (or sometimes twice) a month to commence in merry-making with a bit of competition and strategy thrown in. Be a Has-Bro. Join today.
… The main event of the month will be Game Night which includes strategy games, board games, trivia games, video games (Wii, X-Box and Play Station) and party games. Some more adventurous events to try: Sailing, cruising, sky-diving, scuba-diving, wave surfing, wind surfing, paragliding, parasailing, horse-back riding & etc. (will update this) ... We will try to complement these events with breakfasts/lunches/dinners when possible. We all need energy to be active, right? It's a New Year and I a …

We are dedicated to playing board and card games and having fun. Games vary from classics like: Monopoly or Scrabble to Card based games like: Hearts or Euchre to german style games like: Carcassonne or Settlers to Wargaming ones like: Risk, Diplomacy, Axis and Allies, depending on who brought what and what people want to play.
… It's just that the other NYAMIGO instructor, Naoki, and I will be spending more time teaching beginners than playing even games that day. For the moment we don't have a regular meeting space, but am borrowing space at Meetup HQ once in a while. You'll have to see each individual meetup to check the location. Members (both new and old) are encouraged to post things, ideas for events, discussions, anything they think would be fun for the group.

Do you love Taboo? Do you get "a little too into it" according to your friends? Are you the one gathering everyone around at parties to explain the rules before Taboo games start? (and have people mock you for going through the rules, only to have these same people break the rules then act incredulous when they get buzzed?) Taboo lovers, you know who you are. Now you're safe! At last you can enjoy Taboo with other people who enjoy the game, know when to bust into song, and don't get it confused …

After learning the game and playing at the UFT for three years my friend and i decided it was time to make the game more comfortable and personal! Let's play a game or two and discuss all the new and exciting things we are doing or learn some new places to go, people to see!!
Love American Mah Jong? Find a game near Tenafly, Old Tappan, Oradell, Westwood, Paramus, Fort Lee, and the surrounding areas. Schedule your own game to find players. Any member of this group may schedule a Meetup to play Mah Jong. Set the date, start to end time, # of players and skill level required, "pie" amount and place and away you go! This site does not promote gambling, it is suggested that all new games are started in public places, and evolve into being home-based (at the discretion of …
